NCAT Bakery is North Carolina A&T State University‘s bakery. It started with four Art Students in 1896, six years after the university was founded. The four students names are Joseph Vo, Darius Story, Nicholas Jedrzynski, and Dexter Ellis III. They were very interested in art, but had an esteem passion for baking. Their passion for baking led them to creating NCAT bakery. It was housed in Dudley Hall and was originally available to only students and staff. While the students came to pick up some good pastries, they could not miss the creative art work the founders had made in passed out or even sold, depending on the day.

We are currently housed in the Aggie Dome on North Carolina A&T State University’s campus still. After surviving for 100 plus years, we now serve all customers and are dedicated to serving are customers value by :
- Offering fresh pastries.
- Not discriminating against age, sex, race, or gender.
- Respecting everyone.
- Giving back to the community.
- Providing outstanding customer service.
